The hospital project was approved by Vietnamese Prime Minister with its investment policy decision issued at the conference “Hanoi 2020 – Investment Cooperation and Development” hosted by Hanoi Authorities at National Convention Center in the morning 27/6/2020.

The project has two names, including Hong Ngoc General Hospital – My Dinh and Hong Ngoc Phuc Truong Minh Hospital because in its first phase of operation, the hospital will work as a smart hospital; then in the 2^nd phase, the investor will build more nursing areas, providing health care services for the elderly. The suffix Phuc Truong Minh aims to convey a meaningful message that is: merit, longevity and lucidity.

Whether it is called Hong Ngoc Phuc Truong Minh Hospital or Hong Ngoc My Dinh General Hospital, this is still the leading modern hospital project in the North of Hong Ngoc Group.
