The Psychology and Mental health (Neurology) Department of Hong Ngoc General Hospital aims at providing psychological examination and mental treatment for patients of all ages, helping them to overcome stress and psychological disorders caused by numerous factors of the modern life.

Particularly, Dr. Dinh Dang Hoe – Head of the department – has more than 30 years of experience in treating complicated cases. He was once the professor in the Department of Mental Health at Hanoi Medical University and worked at the Medical Health Institute of Bach Mai Hospital.

Apart from laboratory testing (CT scan, electroencephalogram, cerebral blood flow), doctors use mental tests such as IQ-RAVEN quiz, ZUNG quiz and BECK quiz to provide accurate diagnosis and treatment for each case.

The department is fully equipped with modern devices, including CT scan, electroencephalography, and machines to measure cerebral blood flow, are all imported from the US, Italy, and Japan.
