Hong Ngoc continued to organize first aids courses for Savills Vietnam’s staff and residents

After signing the agreement of providing medical services to Savills Vietnam (Hanoi office) in 2019, Hong Ngoc General Hospital has successfully organized 2 first aid courses for residents living in projects which are operated and managed by Savills Vietnam. These courses were hosted in late 2019 and May 2020.

To continue the success of the previous courses, on 24^th October 2020, Hong Ngoc General Hospital has organized the 3^rd one for 50 participants including Savills’ staff and residents in the community room, 5^th floor, CT4 Vimeco Building, Nguyen Chanh Street, Trung Hoa, Cau Giay, Hanoi.

The course was led by Dr. Chu Quang Lien – Head of Emergency and Intensive Care Unit, Hong Ngoc General Hospital.

During the course, Dr. Lien explained theory and practice skills in detail, helping participants know how to handle common situations such as drowning, electric shock, febrile convulsion, and chocking which often cause dangerous and huge impact on patients if they are not timely and accurately cured.

Each skill was presented with vivid and easy-to-understand images and videos. Moreover, medical staff of Hong Ngoc General Hospital also applied the skills on dummy to make it clearer to all participants.

After the doctor’s lectures, the trainees directly practiced with the dummy. All students were very serious and actively applied the theory in the lectures to practice. Through the course, they were able to confidently give first aid to their children, family members and those around them in emergency situations.

First aid skills and knowledge are so important in modern life that all people should learn to protect themselves, family members and the community. With that in mind, Hong Ngoc General Hospital is always making afford to organize more and more courses for more people, especially members of our partners such as Savills Vietnam. In the coming time, Hong Ngoc General Hospital will keep cooperating with Savills to host more classes, helping Savills’s staff and projects’ residents to properly handle dangerous emergency cases.
